About Us
Grummant Heating & Plumbing Services was established in November 1982 and has grown into a trusted name for commercial heating, plumbing and mechanical services across Kent and the surrounding counties.
For more than 40 years, we have delivered projects for main contractors, public sector properties, commercial premises and high-value homes, building a reputation for dependable service, technical capability and quality workmanship. Although we work across both commercial and domestic sectors, our main focus is commercial, and around 95% of our work is delivered within that space.
Our client base reflects the breadth and capability of our business. We work with main contractors, luxury residential clients and specialist sites including NHS properties, schools, nursing homes, places of worship, warehouses, wildlife parks and lifeboat stations. This range of experience allows us to approach each project with confidence, whether it involves straightforward services or more complex mechanical requirements.

Today, our business is supported by 30+ directly employed staff, 21+ tracked vehicles and a high-retention workforce that reflects the strength of our company culture. We believe that directly employing our team helps us maintain quality, accountability and consistency across every project.

Clients know who they are dealing with, communication stays clear and responsibility is never passed around. Each project benefits from a dedicated foreman, giving clients a single point of contact throughout the works.
Projects of every scale
We complete more than 300 projects each year, with values ranging from £100 to £3 million. That means we are equally comfortable responding to smaller works, reactive requirements and service calls, as we are delivering large-scale installations, mechanical packages and planned developments.
Our involvement often begins well before installation starts. We provide surveys, design support, BIM mechanical designs, thermal models, cost planning and tendering services to help clients move forward with clarity and confidence. From there, we manage installation, testing, commissioning, handover and ongoing maintenance support.
